Ombrelli dagli splendidi design, tessuti, decorazioni e maniglie. Capolavori che esportano questo marchio "Made in Italy" da Castellucchio nella campagna mantovana al mondo intero. Esiste ancora qualcuno che continua a produrre ombrelli "DOC" e li distribuiscce in ogni angolo del mondo, con un marchio che ha passato il mezzo secolo: PASOTTI.

La ditta fu fondata nel 1956 da Ernesta Pasotti che inizio' a produrre ombrelli unici che vendeva direttamente, talvolta a cavallo del suo scooter. In seguito, assieme al marito Vittorio Giacomini, incaricato delle vendite, la ditta crebbe da piccola realta' artigiana a realta' industriale con oltre un centinaio di lavoratori. Oggi la ditta sceglie di fuggire dalle logiche della produzione industriale, ridimensionandosi e concentrandosi sulla produzione di edizioni limitate. Eva Giacomini, la figlia del fondatore, assieme al marito Mauro Begotti, continua la preziosa tradizione artigiana creando una vasta collezione di modelli, con manici fatti a mano e decorazioni in cristalli Swarovski applicate a mano, oltre alle collezioni per altri marchi.

Pasotti produce oltre 30.000 ombrelli all'anno: pezzi di altissima qualita' che vengono venduti nelle piu' prestigiose boutiques di 55 paesi del mondo. Il mercato estero e' in continua espansione grazie al lavoro della nuova generazione: Nicola Begotti,figlio dei titolari e sales manager espande il business di famiglia attraverso l'e-commerce e la partecipazione alle piu' importanti fiere italiane e straniere.

La tradizione italiana della produzione di ombrelli si tramanda di generazione in generazione.

There is still someone who continues to produce “DOC” umbrellas and distribute them in every corner of the world, using a brand name that just passed the half century mark: Pasotti.

The company was founded in 1956 by Mrs. Ernesta Pasotti who began producing 'one of a kind' umbrellas that she sold directly, sometimes riding her scooter. Then, together with her husband Mr. Vittorio Giacomini, who mainly took care of sales, the company grew from a small artisan company to a large one with over one hundred employees.
Today the company chose to excape from the industrial production logigs, downsized and mostly concentrate on limited edition products. Eva Giacomini, the founders' daughter, together with her husband, Mauro Begotti, continues the precious artisan tradition manufacturing a  huge collection of designs, styles, handles and the collections for other private labels. In addition to designs and fabrics, they work on the handmade handles and on the trimming: from Swarovski crystals, sewn by hand, to garnets, just to give two examples.

Pasotti makes 30,000 umbrellas a year: very high quality products sold in the most prestigious boutiques in 55 countries all around the world. And the overseas market is truly continuing to grow, thanks to Nicola Begotti, the owner’s son. As sales director, he has increased the business through e-commerce and handles the company’s attendance at numerous Italian and foreign trade fairs.
